Playlist for 7-29: Hot Dog, it's Bloodshot
This month's I Love My Label was done in honor of Bloodshot Records, which turned 15 this year. A BBQ is planned for Aug. 22 (not 27 as I said on the show) at the High Noon Saloon for free. Also, there sure are a lot of great damn songs about hot dogs. That is all.

Playlist for 7/22/09: I'll Cry If I Want To
Started with a belated birthday wish to myself (totally forgot!) and finished with a tribute to the artists playing Merge’s XX shows this week. I will do a I Love My Label for Merge in August or September, but next week I plan to do July’s for Bloodshot, which turns 15 this year and is having BBQ’s across the country, including in Madison on Aug. 22 for free. Hairlessness and alternative hair choices were on my mind to begin the show this week. Does it have anything to do with a recent visit to a certain bald man with a lot of beer? Not sayin’. Zero Hour playlist for 7-8-09: Beer me
My pre-vacation show was a mostly loud guitar affair with the likes of Finger, Dinosaur Jr., Swervedriver and Daddy bringing the old and new noise. I paid tribute to all the beers that gave their lives at Summerfest last week and had new music from Young Fresh Fellows, The Minus 5 and Those Darlins. It’s now off to Virginia, the Outer Banks and way too many IPA’s. And yes, I should have played "Beer Money" by the Young Fresh Fellows. Next week, dang it.
